This year, Android auto will be made available on a number of 2016 models of General Motor brands, including GMC, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and Buick. Of the list above, GMC and Buick will set the updates on a select models only, while Cadillac and Chevrolet have a more extensive deployment.
Models of GMC with Android Auto of GMC are the 2016 Canyon, Sierra, and Yukon. These will be equipped with an intellilink system with an 8-inch display. Buick on the other hand, will deliver updates to the 2016 Regal and Lacrose owners, also with the same intellilink system.
For existing owners of the 2016 Cadillac with Cadillac CUE dash system, upgrade is available as well, except the owners of the 2016 SRX. For the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and 2017 XT5, Android Auto will come standard starting this spring.
If you own a 2016 Chevrolet vehicle with 8-nch Mylink screen, the update is ready for your car. A notice from Chevrolet will ensure that you find out about this option to upgrade.
